I have the flu. And it sucks monkey ass. I tried to call my mom to tell her I was dieing, I figured as bad as I felt, it was the next logical step.

It's getting closer and closer to the end of the year. In 2 days it will be the 4 year anny. of my fathers death, that still depresses me from time to time. I have started down a new career path that so far seems to suit me very well. If you know me, I have worked in the security field for over three years now. Well, I am now a CNA at our local nursing home. I honestly never saw myself in the nursing field, but I seem to have a knack for it. I love the job I do now even though it does involve some.. well, lets just say "ickyness" and leave it at that, lol. I have plans for the next year ahead, some changes in my life that are long overdue. I want to better myself if nothing else. I have already started on my physical self. Congratulate me! I have lost 45 pounds since this past April. I know bragging isn't groovy, I just can't help myself. I wish I could post more meaningful stuff, but I am just not in the philosophical mood at the moment. Just wanted to give a quick update on my life and hope to talk(write) with everyone later. Love you guys. Really.

I made a post back in June about finding a lost friend. Well, thanks, to Ange, I have a scanner and can finally post a few pics! Oh and no making fun of they way I look, after all this was like 8 years ago. ( Collapse )

ok, here's the deal, I have a friend I haven't heard from in 3 years. He used to come up from N.C. at least once a year to see me. Well, I finally found him yesterday on classmates. who knew that site was actually good for anything? Anyways, he is stationed in Afghanistan so I don't know when I will get a reply, but goddamn I'm so happy just to know he's still alive and that idiot we have for a president hasn't sent him to his death!
